The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ promotes agriculture by hosting an annual, family-friendly experience in Houston, Texas, that educates and entertains the public, supports Texas youth, showcases Western heritage and provides year-round educational support within the community. Since 1932, the Houston Livestock Show has encouraged and promoted the breeding, raising and marketing of the livestock industry in the Texas Gulf Coast region. Today, it is the world’s largest and most prestigious livestock exhibition and has grown to more than 30,000 exhibitor entries. The 2026 show dates are March 2–22.
