Expo Rural 2025

The 137th Exposición Rural, an exhibition of livestock, agriculture, and international industry, will be held at La Rural Fairgrounds in Buenos Aires, Argentina, July 17–27, 2025, and showcase livestock excellence, with cattle, horses, sheep, and goats featured from a variety of breeds. With more than 4,500 animal exhibitors, 400 trade exhibitors, and 130,000 visitors, Expo Rural provides a meeting point for producers, contractors, entrepreneurs, professionals, students, and technicians from Argentina and the world. The event provides a unique opportunity to observe and engage with leading breeds, including Angus, Brangus, Hereford, and Shorthorn cattle as well as Criollo, Quarter Horse, Paint Horse, and Arabian horses.
As part of the Expo, USLGE and USDA-FAS will host a special reception at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence for Friends of U.S. Genetics to foster connections between industry leaders and to promote the exchange of expertise in livestock genetics. The USLGE trade mission will also include meetings with breeders’ associations to exchange knowledge and to explore potential collaborations; participants also will take part in ranch visits for firsthand insight into Argentine livestock operations and genetic advancements.
